mov.r is an independent magazine for new research and writing on artists’ film and video. Oisín McGilloway founded the publication in 2025 to provide young and emerging writers with a platform to talk about contemporary social and political issues through critical analysis of experimental filmmaking form and practice. In mid 2026, the first print edition, mov.r [0], was announced.
